TOTEM Wins 2013 Drama Desk Award!

Fresh from the Cirque du Soleil Facebook page is this announcement…

TOTEM just won in New York City the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Unique Theatrical Experience! Congratulations to everybody that has been involved with the production since its creation!

Also nominated for the “Unique Theatrical Experience Category” were Bello Mania, Chris March’s The Butt-Cracker Suite! A Trailer Park Ballet, That Pla: A Solo Macbeth, The Fazzino Ride and The Man Who Laughs.

TOTEM was also nominated in the “Outstanding Projection Design” category along with Chaplin: The Musical, Old Hats, Here Lies Love, Checkers and Wild With Happy. The award for Outstanding Projection Design went to Here Lies Love.
