“The Tenors” Join Cirque for One Night for ONE DROP

Award-winning vocal super group, The Tenors take the stage at ONE DROP’s second annual global philanthropy event, One Night for ONE DROP Friday, March 21 inside the Michael Jackson ONE™ Theatre at Mandalay Bay. For the first time, The Tenors will perform alongside artists from all eight Las Vegas Cirque du Soleil shows in a completely original production created and directed by Mukhtar Mukhtar. Tickets are available by visiting http://onenight.onedrop.org or by calling (702) 778-3772.

“After watching the inaugural gala last year, we are honored to share the stage with the talented artists of Cirque du Soleil and to join in their efforts in raising awareness and crucial funds needed to combat water issues around the world,” said The Tenors.

Since their inception, The Tenors have thrilled audiences with more than 500 live performances on five continents, and over 150 international television performances, including a heartfelt performance on the 2011 Prime Time Emmy Awards and a surprise performance by Celine Dion with them on the Oprah Winfrey Show. Blending powerful vocal styles with classical music and contemporary pop, these international singing sensations – Clifton Murray, Victor Micallef, Remigio Pereira, and Fraser Walters – deliver music that is rich and soulful, featuring powerful anthems, classic cover songs, and original scores.

One Night for ONE DROP is a joint effort between Cirque du Soleil and MGM Resorts International, which includes Mandalay Bay among its resorts, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the Las Vegas Springs Preserve’s ongoing effort to support water conservation and sustainable living in the Las Vegas Valley. The evening will feature Cirque du Soleil artists, as they bring together the message of ‘ONE THOUGHT, ONE WORLD,’ as a metaphor of time, and its effect on society, telling us to create the world in which we want to live.
