What started out as the Cirque du Soleil Theme Park project in Puerto Vallarta in 2014, stalled in more recent years as Cirque du Soleil came under new ownership, The Goddard Group fell from grace, and construction fell further behind. Last we heard, Grupo Vidanta took full control over the project – now named “The Parks” – to complete the first phase but without Cirque du Soleil involvement. Today, new renderings of what is now being deemed the Final Version of “The Parks” were released… and although Cirque du Soleil may no longer be attached to the project, the results are still breathtaking…
