Tonight, Cirque du Soleil’s 2005 production – Corteo – celebrated its 3,500th performance in Bogota, Colombia!
Corteo celebrated its 500th performance on August 13, 2006 in Chicago, IL; its 1,000th performance on January 20, 2008 in San Diego, CA; its 1,500th performance on June 3, 2009 in Nagoya, Japan; its 2,000th performance in September 2010 in Kazan, Russia; and it’s 3,000th performance on July 17, 2013 in Sao Paulo, Brazil!
Congratulations Corteo!
After Colombia, Corteo will push into Mexico, visiting Merida, Guadalajara, and Monterrey, before putting on its last shows under the big top in Mexico City. It’s hard to believe, but Corteo will have its final curtain call in Mexico City on November 22, 2015 and it will not be converted to the arena format. So if you want to see Corteo one last time, you have to do it before November 22nd!!
