SIR PAUL McCARTNEY credits French circus troupe CIRQUE DU SOLEIL with helping him understand the full impact THE BEATLES have made.
LOVE, a show inspired by the British band, premiered in Las Vegas, Nevada, in June (06) and former Beatles McCartney and RINGO STARR were among the first to see it.
And McCartney confesses he’d never appreciated his musical success until that point.
He says, “(It was emotional) because it’s my mates, and because of the fact that it’s no more, except on record – physically no more.
“In the middle of the show, I was sitting next to Ringo, I was welling up, and I just turned to him and said, ‘F**king great band. Listen to these noises. How did we do that?'”
