CirqueTech – Mystère’s Soundscape

Have you ever wondered what equipment goes into bringing a Cirque du Soleil show like Mystère to live musically each day? In March 1994, Theater Crafts International (TCI) magazine took a peek into that equipment – then, the first theater show – and reviewed the music technology (specificially the equipment) the production was using. While this information is older and may now be out-of-date (there has been a recent speaker installation for the “cheap seats,”) it does provide a unique opportunity to understand what kind of technology goes into bringing Cirque productions to life musically:
