CDS implements Openbravo POS for omnichannel experience

Openbravo, the global retail software solution vendor for agile and innovative retailing, today announced that it has been awarded a five-year contract by Cirque du Soleil. The new contract extends the current agreement dating from 2014 to deploy Openbravo POS software for its merchandising stores and across its 18 permanent and touring shows around the globe.

The two companies already work together to increase Cirque du Soleil’s business agility and enhanced customer experience through Openbravo POS to manage merchandising and food and beverage (F&B) sales by integrating with Cirque du soleil’s central ERP system. The use of Openbravo software will enable Cirque du Soleil to continue innovating at the point of sale with the introduction of new capabilities aimed at delivering an improved customer experience in all its merchandising stores and shows, as well as to progress with its omnichannel strategy.
